THIAGO QUEIROZ, PA is a physician assistant practicing in psychiatry at Neuro Wellness Centers of America
Queiroz has been passionate about medicine and mental health for as long as he can remember.
“I love mental health – it’s the foundation to everything in life,” he said.
During his college years in Tampa, FL, he volunteered as a 2-1-1 crisis counselor while working as an emergency medical technician for a local ambulance service. He graduated from The University of Tampa with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2012, and worked as an intake counselor at a Baker Act receiving facility.
He later attended Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, completing their physician assistant program in 2015. Since then, Queiroz has held clinical appointments in both state and county corrections, as well as at the Orlando VA Medical Center.
In addition to working at Neuro Wellness TMS Centers Of America in Coral Springs, Queiroz is employed at Broward Sheriff’s Office Paul Rein Detention Facility, where he is responsible for the psychiatric care and management of their inmate population. He obtained the NCCPA Certificate of Added Qualifications in Psychiatry in 2016, and graduated from Lincoln Memorial University’s Doctor of Medical Science program in 2020.
