Is SAINT TMS available in Utah?
As of November 2026, Magnus Medical’s official provider locator lists no verified SAINT® provider in Utah. Some clinics in the region offer 5-day “accelerated TMS” programs. Those are separate, off-label programs — not SAINT® — and their own providers describe them as untested in the SAINT® clinical trials.
Your options include a verified SAINT® provider in a neighboring state, or Neuro Wellness TMS Centers of America in Coral Springs, Florida, through our one-week travel program. See how the travel program works.
Is accelerated TMS in Utah the same as SAINT?
No. Three things separate SAINT® from a copied 5-day schedule: (1) a personalized target chosen from your own brain MRI, (2) FDA-cleared targeting software on the Magnus Medical system, and (3) the published trial results — 79% remission in the 2022 controlled trial (Cole et al., Am J Psychiatry 2022). A program that skips the scan or uses head measurements on a standard machine is a different treatment. BEAM F3 vs fMRI targeting.
Getting to Coral Springs from Utah
From Salt Lake City International (SLC), Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International (FLL) is the closest major airport to our Coral Springs clinic — about 30 minutes away by car. Palm Beach International (PBI) is the next closest. Flight times and nonstop availability change, so check current routes when you plan; we’ll help coordinate scheduling around your travel.
Because SAINT® is five consecutive days, Utah patients typically fly in for a focused week rather than commuting. We schedule the evaluation and MRI to keep your trip as short as practical — confirm the exact number of trips with us when you book.
Insurance and cost from Utah
SAINT® coverage is currently limited and decided case by case through prior authorization. We run a free insurance benefits check on your plan — we never say “covered by insurance” about SAINT®. Self-pay is available from $25,000 for the full five-day course, including the brain MRI and all 50 sessions.
How your consultation works from Utah
Your first call is an eligibility screening to confirm SAINT® may be appropriate and that a brain MRI is safe for you. The full medical evaluation happens in Florida at our Coral Springs clinic. Our clinicians may not be licensed to provide telehealth in Utah, so we won’t promise a telehealth evaluation — the psychiatric evaluation is in person.
South Florida’s winter weeks are mild, which makes a treatment week in November through March comfortable. Pack light layers and plan for mostly indoor clinic days. Call 954-827-9793 or request a consultation to start.

Is SAINT® TMS Right for You?
Tried antidepressants without enough relief? SAINT® TMS is an FDA-cleared, fMRI-guided treatment for adults with major depressive disorder who have not improved enough with antidepressant medication.
SAINT® uses a personalized brain target and delivers treatment over five consecutive days. It differs from standard TMS in its targeting approach, treatment schedule, and research background. In a small randomized trial, 11 of 14 people receiving active treatment reached remission at the four-week assessment, compared with 2 of 15 receiving sham treatment. Results vary, and a five-day treatment course does not guarantee remission in five days.
How SAINT® Works and How It Differs From Conventional TMS
SAINT® is an FDA-cleared treatment for adults with major depressive disorder who have not improved on antidepressants in the current episode. This video explains how it works, and how it differs from conventional TMS.
Conventional TMS usually means about 30 visits over 6 to 9 weeks. SAINT is five visits over five days.
What makes it different: SAINT is the only FDA-cleared depression treatment that uses an fMRI scan to personalize the stimulation target to your individual brain. A 45-minute scan maps your brain and identifies the specific circuit linked to depression. Treatment is then delivered as ten 10-minute sessions per day, with 50-minute breaks between them, across five consecutive days.
In clinical trials, 79% of participants reached remission, with an average of 2.6 days to remission. SAINT is generally well tolerated; the most common side effects reported were mild headache and temporary scalp discomfort at the treatment site.
